In the writing center various paper, writing utensils, and vocabulary words are available for children to create. It is designed to be a welcoming space where children can explore and are not required to write on lines.
Supplies are provided for children to practice their writing skills. Rather than copying worksheets, which often require them to make letters in small defined lines, they are more age-appropriately provided with blank papers to freely explore the letters.
